The Johnson Tiles Environmental Policy

Greenguard Gold Certified

Our factories are Greenguard Gold certified; ensuring that our products are environmentally friendly and free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), they are certified for low chemical emissions for indoor air quality.

Recycling - Why is it important?

Recycling or re-using tiles is an important practice as, by recycling, ceramic waste doesn’t contribute to increasing landfill. This can also help by reducing the demand for natural resources. Re-used tiles can be used in mosaic projects, in art pieces or around the home. Pinterest has many creative ideas for recycling tiles. In some cases, tiles in good condition, free of grout and adhesive, may even be used again in another project. Recycled ceramics can be used in drainage materials, as bases for paths or driveways, in composite material for aggregates and in road bases under bitumen.
